Abstract

Purpose. The article aims to highlight the role of innovative practices and creative potential in shaping a modern model of agricultural production capable of effectively responding to the environmental, social, and economic challenges of wartime and global instability. It also seeks to justify promising directions for the development of agriculture based on the synergy of innovative technologies and creative approaches. Methods. An interdisciplinary approach was employed, integrating elements of systems analysis, comparative analysis, content analysis, and information synthesis. The study analyzes scientific sources, statistical data, empirical research, and examples of innovative practices. Special attention is given to local solutions adapted to the realities of agricultural production under resource constraints. Results. The article presents the main types of innovations in agriculture – technological, institutional, and social – and their interaction with creative processes. Examples of effective implementation of modern practices are provided, such as aquaponics, vertical gardening, mobile chicken coops, agritourism, food hubs, and others. It is demonstrated that the creativity of agricultural producers is a critical factor in adapting to crisis conditions. The study argues that a creative approach not only enhances production efficiency but also strengthens social cohesion, fosters community development, and contributes to the formation of a new agricultural culture. Conclusions.Innovative solutions, supported by the creative potential of agricultural sector participants, act as a catalyst for the sustainable renewal of Ukraine’s agriculture. The formation of open innovation systems involving farmers, educators, researchers, and government bodies is a strategic prerequisite for agricultural modernization. The article proposes strengthening institutional support and investing in human capital as the foundation for an innovative breakthrough.
